Grandmaster Emiko Hsuen

Sifu Emiko Hsuen is a lay-nun trained in the Shaolin arts, Vajrayana Buddhism, Western Mystery tradition, and raised in Christianity. She is called 'sifu' by her students, which is translated from Chinese into English as 'parent-teacher'. 

Born to Christian missionaries, Sifu Emiko Hsuen was taught the power of prayer and the undeniable presence of Source. From age 11, she received extensive training in martial arts. From age 19, she received formal training in meditation. Her training was traditional, intensive and authentic. She is committed to following the Great Way and to pointing people back to Source.

She has a B.A. Hons. in Creative Writing and English, ESL certification, and a post-graduate certificate in Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health. Sifu Hsuen is also a classically trained soprano, violinist, composer, producer and director.
